From Elder back to Trey

Mcgarys brought over one of my favorite treats as a welcome home gift.  I was so excited to eat it the next morning.  Grabbed one for each hand and had forgotten how sweet things were!!lol  I was set apart the following morning at President Henry's house. Then mom and I ran and got me some new garments.  Mine were pretty worn from hand washing them for 2 years.  I can say that was an experience of a lifetime!  Words can't express how proud and grateful I am of you.  I never understood how much a mom could worry, stress, celebrate, love, cry while a child serves a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The word sacrifice took on a an entirely new meaning and all the prayers that are offered in behalf of a missionary is eye opening.  My testimony grew along side yours.  Thank you for being such a wonderful example to our family.  You faced many challenges along with rewarding joyful moments.  Those experiences he...

HOME SWEET HOME

Carpet, a washing machine, AC, a hot long shower and driving a car all sounded so good.   Everyone made fun of my white feet. I gave myself a house tour and everyone followed me as if it was brand new and I had never seen it before. Mom and dad couldn't believe I brought an orbie gun home on the plane, it looked a little real.  I also filled the suitcase with snacks and drinks and a huge bottle of hot sauce that I put on everything in Honduras.  It was good to be home.

I'm HOME

Leaving the mission.   We went to Presidents house the day before.  It was so nice. Then went to the office until midnight.  We took a bus to the airport and slept there until 10.  Honestly it was terrible and all of us missionaries felt nasty. We really didn't get any sleep. My flight came in at 10:30pm.   It made for a very long day.   All I wanted was to be home for the Basin City Rodeo and 4th of July parade.  I made it!

Goodbye Party!

Last Missionary Email!!!

Hey, how are you all doing? I'm doing great! I have had the most random week ever so thats been really fun and I haven't been sick. Also I only have 9 days left so I'm going to be home soon. July 2nd 10:30pm=pasco To start the week we had interviews with President. I made cookies for him and Sister Donaldson and they loved them. Friday we went to one of my comps old areas and some guys gave us a jalon(ride) and they ended up inviting us out to eat and bought us hecka food so that was pretty cool. Saturday one of the mission counselors came and visited us and talked about the most random stuff during our meeting that lasted 3 hours(im not exagerating) so that was interesting and a waste of time.  Today was our last normal p-day so we did the "routine" wake up, gym, call fam, go eat at master chicken, then play soccer the rest of the day so I'm pretty tired haha. Also it has been pouring rain everyday these last 2 weeks so none of our clothes dry outside.  I d...

Hard Week

Image
Hey everyone hope you guys are all doing great. Im doing alright. As you can read by the title this week was a little rough. First we didn't get anything done this week and I'll give you guys a day by day why. Monday- we traveled to Tetgus for a multi zone conference.  It wasn't bad but since we live far we only could go to 2 lessons before we had to catch the bus. This day was pretty fun cause I got to see a bunch of my friends in tegus and have a sleepover.   Tuesday- we had our multi zone at a statue called picacho which is a giant statue of Jesus Christ which was so cool. Afterwards on the way home our bus broke down. Our bus ride went from 2 hours to 4 hours. Then when we got home we saw that our house flooded so we spent about 45 min sweeping all the water out of the house. Wednesday- woke up and guess what, house flooded AGAIN. It wasn't as bad this time but it was still annoying to clean up. Then my stomach started to hurt really bad unfortunely we couldn'...
