From Elder back to Trey

Mcgarys brought over one of my favorite treats as a welcome home gift.  I was so excited to eat it the next morning.  Grabbed one for each hand and had forgotten how sweet things were!!lol  I was set apart the following morning at President Henry's house. Then mom and I ran and got me some new garments.  Mine were pretty worn from hand washing them for 2 years.  I can say that was an experience of a lifetime!  Words can't express how proud and grateful I am of you.  I never understood how much a mom could worry, stress, celebrate, love, cry while a child serves a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Carpet, a washing machine, AC, a hot long shower and driving a car all sounded so good.   Everyone made fun of my white feet. I gave myself a house tour and everyone followed me as if it was brand new and I had never seen it before. Mom and dad couldn't believe I brought an orbie gun home on the plane, it looked a little real.  I also filled the suitcase with snacks and drinks and a huge bottle of hot sauce that I put on everything in Honduras.  It was good to be home.

Leaving the mission.   We went to Presidents house the day before.  It was so nice. Then went to the office until midnight.  We took a bus to the airport and slept there until 10.  Honestly it was terrible and all of us missionaries felt nasty. We really didn't get any sleep. My flight came in at 10:30pm.   It made for a very long day.   All I wanted was to be home for the Basin City Rodeo and 4th of July parade.  I made it!
