New Teacher and Stomach Bug

Image
This week has been more interesting than the last but not by much😂 We got a new Spanish teacher this week and I wish he was our Spanish teacher from the beginning. I feel like I learn so much from him and that my Spanish is getting way better the last week.  Once again, I got sick. I was doing good till these last 2 weeks. Nothing crazy though just a stomach bug.🤢 The rest of the week has been pretty average nothing super exciting happened. We got an English and Spanish version of the new preach my gospel so felt like Christmas came early.  I've been playing a lot of volleyball but that's about it.   I've been meaning to tell you guys about a word we made up called "filicular". It just means picture but it's what we call it for some reason we say that it is a Spanish word. Spiritual thought, This past Sunday all the lessons and devotionals where on the Holy Ghost and receiving revelation and I wrote down something in my journal that I thought I'd share....

Hot Dogs

I'm so ready to get out to the field!!! Mtc is making me a little crazy. We are done with our PMG class so now we have 7 hours of Spanish which is way too much. We had hotdogs last Saturday and they were legit Costco hotdogs.   They were sooooo good, so I decided to eat 2, bad idea, they came back up so that was terrible, but I did get to skip 2 hours of Spanish class.🤢 But since I last sent my email, we've gone to the temple twice. First time we did initiatory and today we did an endowment session.   It was awesome and on Tuesday we got to listen to Elder Bednar on a live broadcast from Provo MTC, he talked about repentance and how repentance isn't a punishment it's a gift. The rest of the week has been average. We got a new Spanish teacher because our other one started working at a hospital. Then we had a service project of cleaning garbage cans.  The food is still mid, the tienda takes all my money and im still alive.  Love, Elder Price P.S I got...

Helping others and Rain Storm

I can't believe it; Monday will be 1 month in, and I feel like I just started last week. Most of us are ready to get out of the mtc because we are tired of classes. We taught our first two lessons to real people Saturday and Wednesday. The first one was rough because it was on zoom and all we had to do was talk to the person and ask question then to share a quick scripture.  As soon as we said our scripture we looked down at our notebook and realized we had no notes after that, so we just had to full send. IDK if the guy understood anything we said because he kept laughing at us. The second one was a lot better it was in person with a girl. She was only 14 but she was very smart.  We asked her what the scripture we shared was and she went on a whole rant about it.   I was kind of impressed. Now for the weekly run though Sunday: It was fast Sunday, and it was tough.  The devotional was so good. It was Elder Holland talking about why they made the...

Temple trip, weekly run through and tienda runs

Hey Everyone,  Sorry this weeks email might be a little long.  I've got a lot of stories to tell and if you don't want to read just look at pictures.  I'm still alive and doing well! Sunday was very spiritual and nice.  Sacrement meeting was a little weird but it wasn't bad. They randomly call on people to give talks and a Hermana in our district wasn't finished with her talk so I gave her my talk so she actually gave my talk. Don't worry it was an amazing 7-minute talk in Spanish. Monday we went to the Mexico City temple to do batpisms for the dead and I got to baptize in Spanish.   It was so cool. Also, bishop thanks for making us go reverently fast with our youth group because I ended up baptizing 5 people.  We were running behind and they kept me in the faunt because I was going pretty fast. (everyone else who baptized only did 2) Also the temple president was super friendly.  I couldn't really understand him but knew what he wanted. The res...
