First Baptism! I met Joseph Smith and weekly run through.

Like the title says, I baptized my first person on my mission. His name is Francisco Morales. It's weird here because you get called by your first name, so everyone calls him Hermano Francisco. But anyways he's awesome. He lives on top of a literal mountain, and I've visited him 5 times. I want to die every time HAHA. We invited investigators who are thinking about getting baptized to come and 5 showed up so that was good. I was so nervous I was going to mess something up but it all went smoothly except after the baptism we realized I forgot to pull the drain so I pulled my pants as high up my legs as I could and climbed back in. Welp, it didn't work they got soaked from my knee's down.

Fun fact actually I met the "REAL" JOSEPH SMITH. He's not actually white, he's Catrachos (From Honduras). This crazy guy yelled at us from across the street "Hey mormonies I need to talk to you!" we immediately knew this guy was crazy. He then told us he was Joseph smith and that me and my companion Wixom aren't going to be saved because we are white and don't have Latino blood in us. WILD GUY HAHA.

Monday- Got to hang out with my boy Elder Mills and Averett again. We went and toured the oldest bell tower in the southern hemisphere. Then went and played porta (soccer, Fotboll) for the rest of the day.

Tuesday- Had a district review in the morning then had lunch with the Familia Chow. They made Sopa de Mondongo which my companions wouldn't tell me what it was, so I just ate it. Well come to find out it was cow intestines and other parts. I wanted to puke. It wasn't good at all, but I didn't want to be rude.

Wednesday- I woke up not being able to breathe and was panicking. My airway in my chest felt swollen and I couldn't get air. My companion Ramirez who has also been sick with a stomach problem for a week and I went to Tegucigalpa to the hospital.   It was nicer than the other one I went to.   Basically, the doctor told us we are both fakers and that there is nothing wrong with either of us. IDK WEIRD

Thursday- We ended up staying the night in teguc and I got McDonalds for lunch!!!! heck yeah it was so good. As soon as me and Rameriz got home we had to go on intercambios (Exchanges) for baptism interviews. Then we both decided that we wanted to have a sleepover with Elder Averett and his companion, so we did. They didn't have any extra bedsheets, so I used 2 Jackets of Averetts.

Friday- We ended up heading home super early and once we got all cleaned up for the day, we went to siquatepeque to get Wixom. Once we got back, we had a lesson with Benjamin. We invited him to get baptized and he said YESSS! His first language is English, so we teach the lessons in English, and I found an old English book of Mormon laying around that I gave to him. Then we went to the Familia Chow again. They are such amazing people. They gave me such a confidence boost because they understand that I don't speak Spanish or understand very well so they use easy word and describe things when I don't know a word. We met them on my 3rd day in Honduras and today they told my Spanish has improved like crazy from the first time we met.

Saturday-woke up, got ready and headed straight to the church to get cleaning the faunt for the baptism. Then at 10:00 Elder Averett and I went to a school and taught an English class to kids grades K-6 it was wild. It was super hard to teach when you don't speak Spanish. The principle at this school is the best person ever. He speaks 5 languages, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and English. In that order. He says he has online classes to teach all these languages and its normally 500 limps (money in Honduras isn't Pesos like Mexico its Lempiras)  a month but for missionary's its free. well, we went back to the famila Chows house to celebrate Ashley's 18th birthday and it was a party. They fed us awesome food they had cake and cupcakes and the played AMERICAN COUNTRY MUSIC. They say they love country, so I think we are going to be great friends. Then they drove us home because it started pouring rain.

Sunday- Basically a regular Sunday except it started to rain hard, and a car pulled up next to us and asked if we wanted a ride. We got in and 2 guy probably in mid 20's where in the front in church clothes. One started speaking English to me which caught me off guard and he said he served in the Salt Lake City, west? mission. It was super crazy. I've never heard of anyone from out of the states serve in the states.

I'm so sorry it's super long. This is the first week where I haven't been sick, so everything seems super awesome, and I want to share it all.

I've also gained 15 pounds since the start of the mission. I am now 155 so yeah, I might be fat by the end.

Yay for having more energy and finally not feeling sick, this place is awesome and I'm getting fat!

Love Elder Price
