Goodbye CCM, Welcome to the Jungle

This place is crazy!!!! I'm sorry but this email is going to be long.   I got a lot to talk about this week.

I'm in Honduras now and I've only been here for 4 days but it's been fun and crazy.
Monday- Wednesday:  I was finishing up at the MTC so not much happened.  We were still doing regular MTC stuff like going to class and learning Spanish. We said goodbye to our teachers and had our final tienda run.
Thursday- Kinda crazy day to be honest.  I finished packing and started to say my goodbyes to people since everyone was leaving. My companion Budge AKA booj left first and we left right after at noon. When we got to the airport, they got us to security and said good luck and then left. It got real really fast!!   Our plane got delayed for 2 hours so when we finally landed in Honduras it was pretty late. 4 missionaries picked us up and we hopped on this sketchy bus and drove 2 hours to the mission office. We dropped our suitcases off then jumped on a different bus and drove to the "mission home"(it's just a missionary's apartment with a lot of mattresses). Me and Elder Mills where shocked, it finally set in that we can't go back.
Friday- We had a meeting with the mission president in the morning and met our new companions. I'm in a trio again, Elder Wixom (Utah) and Ramirez (Guatemala) are my companions. They are awesome. Well, we almost missed our bus to head to my first area which is comayagua (which is one of the hottest areas).  After a 2-hour bus ride we finally go there. Once we got here, we paid some random people to throw our suitcases in the back of their truck and take us the rest of the way. We stood in the back of a truck for like 5 miles it was fun.
Saturday- It was our first real missionary day. We woke up, bought some cereal for breakfast, had a zoom meeting with the entire mission, had companion study, then we got food from our pensionista (our cook, she makes us lunch). Then we headed out. We taught to some people. Then we realized we didn't start our fast, so we headed home started our fast then went and CLIMBED AN ENTIRE MOUNTIAN. I was so thirsty and thought I was going to die but I made my entire 24 hours with fast.
Sunday- It was fast and testimony meeting so we all got up and bore our testimonies and I thought I was doing good until I forgot a word and then I struggled with the rest. After church we went to the pensionistas house, and she taught us how to make balatas which are just tortillas folded in half loaded with beans, some sour cream looking stuff, eggs, chicken or sausage. Then we went out and taught some more.
The food is amazing here and people are so friendly.   In the last couple days, I've been here me and my companions have drunk like 6 liters of Pepsi and other pops. Also bagged water is so refreshing because it's so hot and people give them to you when you go to their houses. Also, there are these things call pulperias. They are little shops that are everywhere so whenever you need water or something you can just go get it around every corner.
Thats it for this week. Don't worry I'm not dead, I am sick still sick though and its pretty stinking hot, but I'll survive.
Love you all, Elder Price
