Baptism, gangster and weekly run through

This week was good.

Like the title says we had a baptism on Sunday of Hermana Emilna. We had been teacher her for 4 months and she finaly excepted to be baptized. Now we are working to get her 2 daughters baptized.

This week Wednesday night was fun.  We left one of the more dangerous area a little late at  night and all of the sudden when we got to the border of the two gangs there where a ton of military men dressed in all black which was super cool.   I wanted a picture but the lady escorting us out of the area said no because they could start fighting with the gangsters at any moment so we took a different route. When we got close to a safe area with no gangsters a couple people starting say "Oh they are mormons, We might have to do something with them" - Random gangster in the street. I was terrified and just kept walking and didn't say a word cause there were like 8 guys sitting on motorcycles.

Then  I had a random man try impressing me with his English by talking to someone in English and the lady didn't understand anything so then he turned around and smiled at me.  It was awkward was super weird.  Then I was taking a break with my comp and we where playing a game of cards and some kids came up and asked if I could speak English so I responded by asking "What is your name?" and they like freaked out and then asked me what it meant HAHA. WELL you know my luck two minutes later a gangster showed up and a motorcylce and asked "Todo cheque?" which kinda means like all good? and we just said yes and kept playing then he parked next to us, asked what game we where playing, then after a few  minutes finally left.

The rest of the week was good. We had some great lessons as usual, found some new people to teach and  had a baptism in our ward Sunday morning and in the night we went to the hermanas ward.  I baptized someone for them which was super fun cause their ward goes all out for baptisms. They had balloons, streamers, sandwiches, cake, chips, and some type of other food that I don't know how to say/ describe in English but it was good!

I don't have much to say about teaching right now cause we have kinda been focusing on the same couple people to get them ready to be baptized so hopefully we can put a couple more people on date to be baptized this month. Also transfers are this thursday so I might be getting a new companion.

That's it for this week but as usual still working, extremly tired for some reason and trying to survive these gangsters HAHA.

Love you all, Elder Price
