New Comp and my birthday

Hey how y'all doing? I'm doing good but man was this last week crazy. My birthday was the day of transfers and I got a new companion.   His name is Elder Amorim, He's from Brazil (shout out to my boy Chase who's serving there).  I'm 19 which is weird to say to be honest because everyone is always asking how old we are and now the number has changed. haha
We didn't do anything for my birthday, we were busy because of exchanges and we lost all of our contacts in our phone which kept me busy for the day, but it's fine I still have one more Birthday in the mission. Also, fun fact He is the only person from Brazil in our mission.  I think is funny he speaks Portuguese, pretty good Spanish and a little English. I speak English and I'd say my Spanish isn't terrible. The other day we were in a zoom call and he wanted to talk fast to me or just normal so he pulled out google translate,  put it on Portuguese to English and started speaking to me like that. Neither of us can talk to each other in our native languages because the only language we both know well enough is Spanish. It's going to be a learning experience.

The rest of the 4 days went by so fast. We just met all of our investigators, recent converts and some members. Then on Saturday we had service and cleaned up an area, for I think a store. Also the dogs have been extra crazy this week in my area.

Anyway, this week we have a problem with 2 people that know the church is true and go to church but don't want to baptize and want to wait because they or their parents feel like they don't have a good enough understanding of the gospel.   I can see why but there is a scripture Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  I Know none of us have a perfect understanding of the gospel and yes, it's a good thing to know more about the gospel before you get baptized or something big like that but with the gift of the Holy Ghost, we receive after baptism we can learn much more at a fast speed. If we just seek first the kingdom of God all things shall be added onto us. not just knowledge ALL THINGS. I know that this is true and that if we seek for the kingdom of God and do good things, we will receive many blessings.

Love you all, Elder Price
