exchanges, Interviews and stake confrence

 Buenos Dias todo!!! Hope you are all doing great

I'm doing pretty well. Just a little tired though from playing cards all night HAHA.


This week was pretty busy. First of we had a last distrtic counsel "party" for one of the hermanas in our district.  She was going home due to health problems. We played cards, ate snacks and took some goofy photos.

Then Wednesday we had interviews with President and wow do I love having interviews now because hermana Donaldson always brings the best brownies. But other then that its still pretty good cause President actually gives you advice for your area and asks how you are personally doing which it pretty awesome.

Friday we had exchanges with pradera and I went with Elder Escober and we had pretty bad luck. First off we ate with the pensionista and then went to the maxi dispensa to buy snacks that we could eat while we worked. We visited one member and then boom my stomach was dead. So long story short we didn't really work very much that day.

Saturday we went with the heramanas for a little in the afternoon to try and visit the investigators de oro but when we got there they didn't answer the door even though we could see them HAHA. I guess they need to find someone else.

Sunday we had stake conference and it was pretty interesting. There was President and his wife and the area 70. While I was paying so much attention to one of the talks( jk I was almost asleep) My comp tapped me on the shoulder and said,  hey president wants us to go up there are share the mission purpose when its his turn. So now im dying and super nervous but when he called on us it wasn't too bad, We went up there and my comp did it in sign launguage and I said it. The best part though was president said " Este es Elder Price, El DL y su compañero Elder Alonzo. ELLOS SON LOS MEJORES MISIONEROS QUE TENEMOS." Boom beat that Elder Mills!!!! For you who can't read spanish basically president said that me and my comp are the best missionarys that he has.

my spiritual thought this week is about something the area 70 said in his talk(can't remember his name). He said "when we go to the temple we need to go with spiritual hunger." Not literal hunger cause doing a session hungry is terrible and yes I've done it one time cause we where fasting. But we need to go with spiritual hunger to look for something to learn about. There are so many things that we can learn about in the temple and we need to go ready to learn.

Thats about it for this week. Hope you are all soooooo excited for school to start. I know my mom is ready to send Oaklee to school HAHA.

Still Alive

  Hey everyone. It's been while since I've written and email.  My mom told me I needed to write an email because apparently some of you are worried about me. I was just waiting to "see if anyone cares about me." Quote from my Dad haha. I'm doing good here in La Esperanza. We put a baptism date with Valentina which is super exciting and we have been working with a few others to try and put baptism dates. Last week we had leadership counsel which was really fun.  Almost everyone there has the same amount of time in the mission as me. Also they served us ribs, potatoes, corn and a roll.  For dessert we had cheesecake. So it was a 10/10 meal. Other than that not much has happened. We've been busy teaching people and playing soccer. I have a new companion since last time I wrote.  He is from Idaho Falls.  Elder Arms I  only have 5 months left in my mission which is crazy but I'm really enjoying being here so I'm guessing they will go by pretty fast. Transfers... Good bye Esperanza

  Sorry I haven't written in a while. But everything is good here. Just to catch you all up on somethings. We baptized a littles girl named Valentina 2 weeks ago. She is the most adorable girl ever. She lives with her grandma.  I also got to baptize her in a river which was soo cool because our church is still unfinished.  A couple weeks ago I got called to be the 2nd counselor in the Elders quorum since we didn't have one. Last Monday we didn't have a very relaxing p-day.  We went and helped pour concrete for the church which is about to be done being built and I got absolutely roasted and was so red.  We spent 7 hours outside working. I had my birthday 2 weeks ago which was so fun. The only bad part was I got covered with eggs and flour 2 different times. Its a tradition here.  We had interviews with President last week and while he was interviewing some missionary's went and played soccer and basketball which was fun. Las Americas and Miracles!!!

  Hey y'all how are you doing? I'm doing greater than I ever have in my mission. Last week I had to say goodbye to everyone in La Esperanza which was super sad because I love the members there and had a really fun time. Tuesday we traveled to Tegus which took 5 hours to get to transfers. But now I am in LAS AMERICAS with Elder Vasquez. This zone happens to be the zone with the temple. Our ward attends church in the church building on the temple grounds and because of that I get to go to the temple grounds like 3 times a week for activity's and church.  I've always heard that this area is a tuff area because everyone tiene plata(is rich). But I told myself the day of transfers I don't care where I go im just going to enjoy my time there and work hard.(as long as it wasn't monteray HAHA).
