La Esperanza

Hey Y'all how you doing? I'm doing great. This week was transfers and I got transferred to La Esperanza with Elder Vera from Mexico (totally Cameron Price but Mexican) He has 13 months in the mission so he has like 1 transfer less than me. We are the ZL's here and it's a pretty small zone so I think I'll be able to handle it and not have to worry a ton.

Just to give a feel of what Esperanza is like, it's the coldest place in all of Honduras. I'm freezing here, It gets down to about 60 at night and never gets hotter than 75.   I basically just use a sweater all day. It also rains all the time so we always have rain jackets or umbrellas. It's also a pretty nice place. There are a ton of hotels and fancy stuff, id say more tourist like.

Problem though. We don't have a pensinista AGAIN so we all just put in 1,000 limps($40 dollars) and we buy a ton a meat and vegetables and we just cook.   Which its been  pretty good and we are always full afterwards. Today I made the rice and juice for the first time and it's also the first time we haven't undercooked rice and they all said that im now the designated rice cooker which is pretty funny.

Here there are 4 missionarys for a little branch of about 40 active members so we are the Branch secretarys, Sunday school teachers and seminary teachers which is crazy but it's fine. Also we don't have a chapel yet so we are currently meeting in a HOTEL.  The church is suppose to get done in January.
I live in an apartment on top of people.  The view is pretty and I have not just running water but HOT running water! I took the longest shower my first night here.

We also have some people progressing and are hoping that we can put Valerie on a baptsims  date tommorow so wish us luck.

Thats about it this week.
Love you all, Elder Price
