Hospital, Dia De Indepidencia and weekly run through

I can officially say I've barely survived my first 2 months on my mission!

This week has been something else. I decided that I needed to go to the doctor because I had been sick for 2 weeks and wasn't getting any better. Well, fun fact there aren't regular doctor's offices here, so we went to the hospital. I got checked out for everything. The nurse lady tickled my brain twice to see if I had covid or something else. Then I got some X-rays and I got GOOD news and BAD news. Good news the doctor said I'll probably live.... I think.  I don't really know what he said because he didn't speak English.  Bad news I have bronchitis and something with my left sinus. They injected me with 60+ ml of fluid idk what it was but I could feel it LITERALLY going through my veins. Then they gave me like 4 drugs to take and I had to go back for 3 days in a row to use a ventilator thing for breathing treatments.
Monday- This P-day was pretty fun.  We got together with Elder Mills again and went "fishing". If that's what you can call it. It was pretty fun except I was the only one who didn't catch anything.
Tuesday- We had a multi-zone conference with the mission President and his wife, and the President seems like such a funny guy but like I don't speak Spanish well enough, so I have no clue what everyone is laughing at. Then we talked to his wife about getting me checked out and she told us to go to the hospital
Wednesday- This was the best day of my mission yet. Started the day off by going to la paz to do an exchange so then Elder Wixom and I stopped at a gas station, and I got a white monster. Then came back and headed to the hospital. After the hospital visit, I had so many drugs and medicines I was so happy (I might have to go back HAHA).
Then a miracle happened, we taught a lesson in English!!!! I actually got to help. That lesson was the first time I felt the spirit really strong since I left the MTC.
Thursday- Went to the hospital, Slept, and CLIMBED A LEGIT MOUNTAIN. We went to one appointment.   It was Francisco. we went so slowly up that mountain, and I was so tired, but it was good because he is getting Baptized on Saturday.
Friday- Independence Day!!!  We woke up to parades outside our window. They have parades at all the schools in this city. There are a ton of bands and people marching. The bands are soooo good.
Saturday and Sunday- just some regular days
One last thing, the kids here think white people are the funniest thing.  During the parades, kids would stop marching, point at me and Wixom, and laugh. Also, they think it is awesome that I speak English. Saturday we were walking around and 2 families with kids were yelling at me and asking if I spoke English, so I started just saying random stuff and they were so happy and laughing. They walked with us for a bit to listen to me speak English then they turned back.
That's it for this week, barely surviving, struggling with Spanish, and still eating hecka food.
Love you all, Elder Price
