Christmas is here, long trip, First Blessing and weekly run-through

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go!" que onda? Como le va?

Wow Christmas is going to be lit here in Honduras especially in Comayagua!!  We got our MSF or missionary funds on Thursday and me and my companion being the responsible missionary's we are bought a "cheap" Christmas tree and decorations for our house. We also bought Santa hats that we wear every night teaching. We may or may not have gotten "lost" and ended up at the first day of a massive light festival and they lit a huge Christmas tree. You wouldn't even believe me if I tried explaining to you how many lights are at this place it's so unreal.
I made a long trip this week. We have this investigator named Jose who is very interested in the church only problem is our area is absolutely massive and he lives 3 hours away. So, Friday morning we hopped on a bus at 8:30 and took off to go meet him in person now this bus ride was the most amazing and terrible bus ride of my life. Me being relatively tall my legs naturally hit the seat in front of me.  I was lucky enough to get a wheel well seat too. I was in pain most of the way, but the scenery was so amazing. We went through so many mountains and there were some crazy nice houses out in the middle of nowhere. Once we got there, we taught a 30 min lesson in this super peaceful and pretty town and hopped back on the exact same bus and went home. Since we got back on the same bus.  Elder Rameriz and can literally be friends with anyone in the world so they bought us food and drinks. Mainly him but they did give me some chicken and rice.
weekly run-through
Monday- played soccer of course and we played to 10 and it was 9-7 we were losing, and we ended up winning 10-9 and I had the winning goal. I don't know how to explain it, but it was an amazing play by me.  haha
Tuesday- Ramirez had leadership counsel over zoom for 3 hours so I just sat off camera.  Him and I played monopoly deal and uno for basically the entire meeting. Then we went to Hermana Marcias house and her and her "boyfriend' who is a member decided that they are going to get married so that she can baptize this month. its super exciting and she is super nervous! HAHA
The rest of the week was a pretty normal week, teaching, having fun, getting "attacked" by dogs and like always getting yelled at by drunk guys because yo soy Chele o greengo. It's a good life HAHA
Spiritual thought: I gave my first legit blessing in Spanish the other day and I can't tell you how nervous I was. My companion is super good at giving blessing and always seems to knows what to say.  Me, I can't even speak the language very well, so I was ready to pass out. But after saying a prayer in my head I was ready, and I felt like I said the things that I needed to say. The blessing wasn't super long, but it was good. I know that the ability to give blessing is a huge deal and that through worthy priesthood holders and the faith of the person receiving the blessing miracles are possible.
That's it for this week, bad with money, finally working out HAHA, and loving the mission more every day.
