Fecha/meta , p-day and monster for dinner

 Hey everyone I hope you are all doing great. I'm doing pretty well I just caught a cold again which is annoying buts whatever I'm getting use to it by this point.

The week we received a reference for this kid named Darwin. The President of the relief society thought he was 9 but when we got there he was only 8 so it was a little sad at first. Then his grandma told us that his mom isn't a member and that his dad is but he died in 2017 so we looked up his dad and found nothing in the records.  I looked him up in family search and it said we can do the baptism ordinance for him so the church ended up loosing his records. Which means that we can baptize the kid. Its kinda sad but at the same time good for us, I guess. 

This last week President sent out a meta(goal) for everyone to invite 40 people to church and put a baptism date with someone.  You're probably thinking oh that's easy, you have a full week. No, we had Thursday, Friday and Saturday cause he sent it Thursday morning. So Thursday my comp and I gave out 20 invitations and put a baptism date with Darwin then Friday I went to the hospital to get a checkup( I'll talk about this next) then Saturday we gave out 20 more. In our zone at the end of Thursday we had the best numbers and we ended up hitting our goals it was so cool and I was so happy.

Friday I went to the hospital to get a checkup. When we got there the secretary told us "Oh we tried to call you in the morning several time and nobody answered.   The doctor isn't going to be here today so we need to change your appointement." So we asked who she tried calling and she gave us a number that wasn't ours. It was our "Mission Nurses. I was so mad cause I had been talking to them earlier that day about my appointment. But it was all good in the end cause we ate McDonald's and then a member invited us to go get smoothies.

Wednesday I had the smart idea of drinking a monster for dinner and shared some with my comp and he didn't sleep till 2 in the morning and I didn't sleep till 3 because it was my first  one I had in a long time. But we worked the entire next day off of an average to 4 hours of sleep. It was ok but by the end of the day I was so tired.

P-day was awesome. We went paint balling and played like 6 games. Me and the only other greengo in my zone(there are 20 people in my zone) Elder Shelihouse(something like that) where on a team for a 2v2 tournament and we placed 2nd it was dope. Then we went to PRICEsmart to eat which is litteraly just an off brand cosco and you even need a membership and guess who is the only one to have one in our zone? Elder PRICE. The pricesmart jokes went crazy that day and none of them where funny.

We are going to get a new mission President one Thursday which is also transfers so I'm nervous to see what the changes are going to be in this mission.

One thing that stuck out to me this week was the plan of salvation. We taught it like 4 or 5 different times this week. One thing that people don't fully understand though is the 3 kingdoms of glory. Everyone want's to go to the celestial kingdom but nobody wants to sacrifice the things of the world to receive those blesssings. Some poeple love when we teach about the plan of salvation because everyone wants to live with there family forever but we must work for it. Its not free. We must sacrifice the things of the world and be worthy in this life to receive this kingdom and live with God again. It is such a great blessing that we can have eternal life and live with our familiys again. I'm so greatful for the opportunity to have the chance to live with my family again if I stay righteous and endure to the end.
