P-day, Multi zone and cooking
Hey how are you all doing? I'm doing good. It has finally started to rain and it feels soo good. The other day it was 66 degrees and I slept in sweats and a sweatshirt. I didn't even get hot. It was so nice.
This week was awesome. Monday we had a p-day for the mission so everyone got together and had a soccer tournament. It was pretty riged but I still had fun. It was my first time playing since my surgery. In my first game within 2 minutes I had a goal and then asked to get subbed out cause I was so out of breath. I guess that's what happens when you don't really do anything athletic for over a month. But it was so fun to hang out with all the guys.
Tuesday we had a mutli-zone with the whole mission. It was so cool because it was the Presidents last multi-zone which was kinda sad but they had so much food and desserts. I think everyone had a great time and I got to catch up with my boy Elder Mills and Elder Morti.
Wednesday we had consejo de distrito and it was long because one of the hermanas just completed 3 months in the mission so we celebreated a little for that. The sad part though is she only has 3 months but goes home 2 transfers after me.
The rest of the week we just visted members. Tried to find new people to teach and bring to church. It didn't work out great and we only had 1 investigator at church but it was fine. Saturday we made brownies with hermana merary and her family. I bought a brownie mix and then Sunday night we had a family home evening with the lopez casco family and we made mexican tacos for dinner and brownies for dessert, it was so good. I haven't had mexican food in a long. The food here is not Mexican food like some people think.
This week was really fun but something that stuck out to me was a scripture that we shared for a family home evening. It was Proverbs 3:5-6. I love this scripture because we need to trust in God to guide us. We can't lean unto our own understanding because we don't know everything and what we think is best for us God could think otherwise. I know that if we rely on Him to guide us and help us make decisions we will be blessed. Sometimes not in ways that we want but in the end everything will be fine.
Love you all, Elder Price
