Basketball and intercambios
How are you all doing? I'm doing alright. I'm getting bored of this area (just so small) but I have to tough it out because I'm probably going to be here for another 2 months. This week was pretty fun though.
Monday we played basketball and I got hit in the face really hard and got a bloody nose which I can't remember ever having one before in my life. So my nose has been pretty sore lately.
Thursday we woke up early to go play basketball at the church for our "exercise time" which is really fun and is a lot of cardio which is good. Im hoping to loose a little weight HAHA. We just play 2 on 2 with the Elders from pradera. It's fun cause I kinda get to coach them because we want to play 4 v 4 vs the other district but we need a lot of work if we want to win.
Friday we had exchanges with the ZL's and it was so fun but so bad. First off I was with Elder Juarez who is super awesome and full of energy. We went contacting and we found a super positive hermana but then out of no where my stomach just died, the entire rest of the day we just sat in the house and talked.
Saturday and Sunday we fasted and man I hate fasting sometimes. But after church we came home and I made an actual meal for the first time in my mission. It finally wasn't something like pancakes or cereal. I made ham sandwich, salad, potatoes and some juice.( I forgot to buy meat). I made way to much and ended up eating it all. I need to wrk on my portions. Then I took a quick nap before our meeting in the stake center and man did it feel like a Sunday at home. Eating a nice lunch, hand washing dishes, then taking a nap.
I also heard Elder Mills is pretty sick with dengue so hopefully you get better bro.
This last week we had a couple of Family Home Evening and we taught about prayer with a little game with my tie that Elder Hernandez taught me. What I have learned from that little game is that that we always have stuff that we can't do in life or stuff that is hard to do but if we lean not to our own abilities but rely on the Lord anything is possible thanks to prayer.
Hope you all have a great week. Love you all, Elder Price
