Busy 2 weeks
Hey how you all doing? Sorry I didn't write last week we have been have been super busy which has been awesome to be honest.
To start there was a hurricane that hit Honduras a little over a week ago. Where I'm at I was completely fine. It just rained non stop for 4 days and we lost power basically every day but other than that all was good.
Monday I didn't have time to write an email cause we ended up having interviews with President and we thought he was going to do it in our house since we don't have a church building so we deep cleaned our houses just incase haha. Around 3 we started having interviews and we ended 6 so President took us out to eat at a really nice restaurant called Trios kitchen and man it was so good. Then they came and visited our houses to see what they looked like.
Wednesday we traveled to Comayagua my first area for a multi zone and while we where there we visited some families there. It was so fun to visit them.
Thursday we had the multi zone and ended up traveling home that same day. In Comayagua it was like 85 degrees and when we got back home to Esperanza it was 54 and we where all freezing trying to get home as fast as we could.
Friday we woke up early to go to jesus de otoro to do exchanges with the elders there and man traveling 3 days in a row is exhausting so it was a little rough but it was still pretty fun.
That's about all that's happening right now. Except that a cold front just hit and it's been getting down to 50 degrees most nigh. Our house has some window things that can't close, its like metal screens, the house is literally 50 degrees in the morning and it's hard to want to get out of bed.
My spiritual thought this week is something I was thinking about during a lesson on Saturday. We where teaching the plan of salvation to a family that is only some of them are baptized and memebers. While we where teaching I was thinking about how its such a blessing that we can live with our family forever but that every single person needs to put forth their part so that they can live with god by making covenants with god like baptism. If we make and keep oír covenants with god we can live with our family forever.
